The Bishop of West Ankole Diocese, Rt. Rev. Johnson Twinomujuni, has urged parents and the school community of Parental Care Nursery and Primary School Bushenyi to live lives that outgrow their lifespan by investing in meaningful values and education.

Bishop Twinomujuni made the remarks on Friday while presiding over a thanksgiving ceremony to celebrate the school’s impressive performance in the recently released 2025 Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE). The event was held at the school premises in Bushenyi-Ishaka Municipality.

Addressing pupils, parents, and teachers, Bishop Twinomujuni emphasized that success in life requires three key elements: a healthy body, better knowledge and skills, and a clear goal.

“There is no gambling in life. Success comes because you have worked hard for it. Use your time wisely and study hard. Your parents are struggling to pay school fees—do not make them regret at the end of it all,” Bishop Twinomujuni said.

The school director, Elivadah Nshemerirwe, attributed the institution’s continued success to faith in God and the collective hard work of teachers and parents.

“At Parental Care, God comes first. It is by His grace that we are celebrating these good results. To our parents, we must continue sharing the love that unites us,” she said.

Nshemerirwe thanked leaders and stakeholders for their unwavering support, adding that the school equips learners not only to seek employment but also to compete favorably and create jobs in the future.

Bushenyi-Ishaka Municipal Education Officer, Dan Mugyenyi, commended the school for being among the leading institutions that have helped the municipality consistently attain top positions in PLE performance.
