KABALE – The Kabale District Woman MP, Honorable Atwakiire Catherine Ndamira, has today challenged the public not to let Politics divide them but look at developmental things that can transform them from poverty.
Speaking as the guest of honor at the joint celebration of St Theresa Day, held at St Theresa Vocational Secondary School premises, she emphasized the transient nature of politics, reminding everyone that it’s a temporary phase.
In her speech, Atwakiire highlighted the intense competition for her position, one that often tempts candidates to challenge voters and supporters, creating unnecessary conflicts.
Instead, she encouraged the public to trust in God’s guidance when choosing their leaders, emphasizing her own track record of avoiding quarrels with opponents.
Championing the cause of education, Atwakiire challenged the students present to recognize the importance of education in shaping a bright future.
She emphasized that the school’s background doesn’t determine success; rather, it’s the knowledge and skills acquired that truly matter.
