RUBANDA: Rukore Two Primary School, a government-aided school in Ikamiro parish, Muko Sub County, Rubanda West County, Rubanda district is grappling with the scarcity of teachers, insufficient infrastructure, and a dire need for staff quarters to accommodate the staff.

Despite boasting an enrollment of over 150 students, the school operates with a mere quintet of teachers. An investigation done by our reporter revealed that pupils in the nursery section and Primary One class are compelled to share not only a single classroom but also a solitary teacher.

Suzan Kiconco, a teacher responsible for guiding the youngest learners, lamented the inadequacy of manpower with just five teachers on board, the division of students into smaller, more manageable groups remains an elusive dream that hampers the delivery of personalized attention, hindering optimal learning outcomes for the pupils.
