Kiconco, who is also a candidate for the Rukiga County parliamentary seat, made a grand entrance at the Rwamucucu Sub-county Headquarters in a jubilant procession. Hundreds of enthusiastic supporters, including newly elected members of the NRM Electoral College, accompanied him from his residence near Rushebeya Trading Centre to the polling station.

The NRM Sub-county Registrar, Henry Kamugisha, confirmed Kiconco’s victory, announcing him as the unopposed winner after no other candidates presented nominations.

Addressing supporters at his home later in the day, Kiconco expressed deep gratitude for the unchallenged endorsement. He pledged to serve all constituents equitably and vowed to champion inclusive socio-economic transformation throughout Rukiga District.
