KABALE: Hornby High School’s Charity Club on Saturday distributed essential items to the pediatric ward at Rugarama Hospital in Northern Division, Kabale District, in a bid to reduce the financial burden on caregivers of hospitalized children.
While speaking to our reporter at the hospital, Ms. Deborah Aturinda, the patron of the Charity Club, emphasized the importance of extracurricular clubs in the school’s competence-based curriculum. She added that Hornby High School is committed to equipping students with life skills, which are developed through initiatives like the Charity Club.
