KISORO – Nyarubuye Health Centre III in Nyarubuye Sub County, Kisoro District, grapples with inadequate service delivery due to the absence of electricity and a consistent water supply.
Bonimpa John-Bosco, the medical clinical officer and assistant In-charge, highlighted that the facility, serving an average of 60 patients daily and 1600-2000 patients monthly, faces security concerns, medic errors, and underutilization of machines due to the lack of electricity.
Bonimpa emphasized the facility’s heavy reliance on rainwater and urged the government’s intervention to extend piped water, especially during dry seasons.
