Ugandan agribusiness entrepreneur and ex Kampala Central MP aspirant Abraham Luzzi has signalled a possible political shift after meeting associates of Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba at his home to resolve previous differences.
Luzzi, who contested as an independent candidate for Kampala Central MP in the 2026 elections, indicated that he was ready to put past disagreements behind him and work towards a new political understanding.
He hinted at an imminent public endorsement of Muhoozi, whom he referred to as “my leader,” suggesting a move away from confrontational opposition politics towards offering alternative ideas and guidance as an adviser.
Luzzi framed the development as an effort to end what he described as quarrels among elders, emphasising the need for dialogue and cooperation rather than continued political wrangling.
His latest remarks come amid Muhoozi’s growing political mobilisation through the Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU) and his recent declaration of interest in Uganda’s 2031 presidential race.
However, Luzzi’s anticipated public endorsement is yet to be formally announced.
