In a heartfelt message shared on social media, Bikem wrote: “R.I.P Gogo, what sad news! God, keep my heart strong.”

Gogo had traveled to Uganda with her team on August 28, 2025, for a series of concerts, including one at Pastor Wilson Bugembe’s church. After performing in Mbarara from August 29–31, she proceeded to Kampala for more ministry engagements.

Soon after her arrival in Kampala, she began to feel unwell. Initially, those close to her assumed it was a minor complication linked to her known heart condition. However, her condition worsened, and she was rushed to Kyegera Doctors Center Hospital, where she was pronounced dead on arrival.
