Speaking to hundreds of Christians during Pentecost Sunday Mass at Our Lady of Good Shepherd Rushoroza Cathedral, Bishop Rubaramira called on Ugandans to take the Ebola outbreak seriously and strictly observe preventive measures to minimize the risk of infection.

Bishop Rubaramira cautioned Christians against unnecessary physical contact, warning that it could increase the risk of transmitting the deadly virus. He also advised believers to avoid unnecessary travel, especially to areas where Ebola cases have been reported.

Bishop Rubaramira further called upon Christians to remain united in prayer, seeking divine protection against the disease and healing for those infected.
