KABALE- The 3rd Council Session for Kabale district has approved the supplementary budget for women council institution support, Youth livelihood & UEP worth 18,013,397 million shillings for the financial year 2022/2023.
The supplementary budget was tabled before the council members by Kyanamira Sub County woman councilor, Bridget Asinga Tumwesigye during the council sitting that was presided over by the district speaker Flavia Kanagizi at the district headquarters in Kabale Municipality.
Speaking during the council, Flavia Kanagizi said that the money is from gender, labor and Urban development and is meant to support youth livelihood, women councils, UEP to sensitize women for their leadership and wellbeing.
Kanagizi however observed a loop hole in the supplementary budget read to the council members, it was revealed that women councils expired forcing her to directed the committee to seek for guidance on how to use the money to avoid queries.
