KISORO – The Kisoro District Police Commander, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Richard Musisi, bid farewell to his post after serving diligently for 16 months, as he has been transferred to Kalangala, also known as Ssesse Island, to assume the role of District Police Commander (DPC).
During the handover ceremony, Musisi gracefully passed on the reins to Senior Superintendent of Police Mugerwa Benard, who recently completed the Senior Command Course. In an interview with our reporter, SSP Musisi expressed his gratitude for the pleasurable time he spent in Kisoro and lauded the cooperation of all local leaders throughout his tenure.
“I must say that my experience in Kisoro has been nothing short of enjoyable,” remarked Musisi, smiling. “The Bafumbira have shown remarkable hospitality and warmth, which made my service here even more memorable.”
