RUKUNGIRI- A 27-year-old-man, Kennedy Akankwasa has hanged himself dead for yet unknown reasons in Rukungiri district.
According to Elly Maate, the Kigezi region police spokesperson, the deceased is a barber and a resident of Katungu cell, Kigaga ward, southern division in Rukungiri district.
It’s alleged that on the 25/12/2022 at around 10:00 Am, the victim left home to Kakonkoma trading center and never returned back home until 30/12/2022 at around 5:00Pm, when his body was discovered hanging in the latrine at Kakonkoma primary school in Katungu cell.
Maate narrates that police was notified, crime scene was visited and documented and the body was conveyed to Rwakabengo health center III mortuary for postmortem.
