Ntungamo Youth Leaders Trained in Patriotism

NTUNGAMO: Ntungamo District Youth Leaders have been urged to be patriotic.
According to the Assistant Commissioner in charge of training the Patriotism secretariat from the office of the president Miss Bananuka Beatrice, youth have been trained in patriotism in conjunction with district leaders and urged them to be change agents in their societies. She also said that youth have been trained to know the core values of the country and on how they can develop themselves.
Ltd Major Hebert Arineitwe from National Secretariat encouraged youth to start with the little they have so as to develop and inculcate values and norms of patriotism in order to be resourceful, responsible, disciplined and resilient citizens who are loyal and ready to defend and transform Uganda.
The Ntungamo District Youth Chairperson Phillip Ankwasa urged youth to have a vision and  and to fear God
The RDC Ntungamo District Carder Mucunguzi Geofrey who was the guest of honor at the closing of a five day Patriotism training held at Mother Care Primary School Grounds on Friday 2nd December 2022 in Ntungamo Municipality encouraged all the youth to work hard  and fight poverty.
Carder Mucunguzi urged youth to work as a team wherever they are and also advised students to help their parents, grow more crops while they are on holiday.
130 youth leaders have been trained by the National Secretariat for Patriotism Corps also known as NSPC which was established in 2019 by H.E  Yoweri Kaguta Museveni the President of Uganda, with the mandate to develop and coordinate Patriotism clubs in all secondary and post Primary schools and institutions countrywide
