KAMPALA: Speaker Anitah Annet Among has led Parliament in paying tribute to Daniel Bossa, Head of Ndiga Clan in Buganda, who was tragically shot dead over the weekend by assailants.
She emphasized the imperative for relevant security agencies to conduct a thorough investigation into the incident.
Among stressed the importance of ensuring the functionality of all installed CCTV cameras, cautioning against complacency when they are not operational.
“We must urge the authorities to ensure the functionality of all CCTV cameras to facilitate effective monitoring. Additionally, I appeal to all Ugandans who have the means to invest in CCTV cameras for their homes. The government should also consider incentivizing the adoption of CCTV technology by reducing its cost,” Speaker Among emphasized.
