KAMPALA – President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has announced that he will address the nation on security matters tomorrow, Tuesday, 9th January 2024, at 8 PM.
The broadcast will be live on all television and radio stations. The focus of the address will be on ADF.
Recently, President Museveni described ADF as individuals attempting to turn Uganda into a country ruled under Islamic Law.
He highlighted the historical actions of ADF and their connections to Mobutu and Bashir, emphasizing Uganda’s strategic patience in dealing with the situation.

Museveni also shared recent operations against ADF, highlighting successes in countering their attacks. He mentioned capturing key figures and reactivating LDU forces to secure the area.
