The Chairman of the Uganda Episcopal Conference, Rt Rev Joseph Anthony Zziwa, has called on Ugandan Catholics studying and working in Rome to remain united in faith and actively connect with the Church in Uganda.

Bishop Zziwa made the remarks during a Mass and interaction with the Ugandan Catholic community, marking the final day of the bishops’ Ad Limina visit to the Holy See.

The visit, which began on March 15, included meetings with Vatican department heads and an audience with Pope Francis, during which the bishops presented a report on the state of the Church in Uganda and shared updates on evangelization efforts.

Speaking to the congregation, Bishop Zziwa thanked students, priests, and lay members for their dedication in representing the Catholic Church abroad.
