The head of laity for Bugangari Archdeaconry, Kwesiga Boaz Rutera, also addressed the congregation, urging families to embrace Jesus Christ as a solution to domestic challenges. Kwesiga noted that many families struggling with disputes often lack Christ at the center of their homes. He emphasized that when the head of the family prays and adheres to Christian values, it becomes easier to manage family issues peacefully and avoid conflict with spouses.

Kwesiga further pointed out that poverty is a major factor contributing to domestic violence, especially in cases where men fail to provide for their families’ basic needs. He stressed that many men have abandoned their responsibilities, leaving their families without essentials such as food, shelter, clothing, and school fees.
