KABALE: The Kabale District Woman Member of Parliament, Hon. Atwakiire Catheline Ndamira, has urged Christians to use the celebration of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary as an opportunity to refrain from ungodly acts such as fighting and domestic violence.
Honorable Atwakiire made these remarks on Thursday during the celebration Mass of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary held at Bugarama Catholic Church Centre in Buhara Sub County, Kabale District.
   She observed that the increase in domestic violence has hindered development in many families, as spouses are unable to plan for their families together.

The celebration Mass was presided over by Buhara Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Karugaba Silverio, and saw 28 children baptized into the Catholic faith.
