RUBANDA – Hon. Min. Henry Musasizi Ariganyira, the State Minister of Finance (general duties) and Rubanda East MP has proudly revealed the completion of an 800-seater church at his home village, Bushure, in Mpungu Parish, Hamurwa Subcounty, Rubanda District.

The House of Worship will serve the Christians of Bushure Catholic Hiika, which falls under the jurisdiction of Kakore Catholic Parish of Kabale Diocese. The construction, which commenced in 2017, saw the addition of 332 iron sheets to cover the roof, creating a beautiful space for worship.

Andrew Byaruhanga, the Bushure Village LC.1 Chairperson and Secretary for the Finance Committee of Bushure Catholic Hiika, expressed his gratitude towards Hon. Min. Musasizi, stating that he single-handedly provided substantial financial support, both in cash and materials, to help build the church.

Thanks to his generous contributions, the church was able to host its first worship service last Sunday.

The remaining tasks for the church’s completion include installing doors and windows, cementing the floor, plastering, and painting.

They are eagerly anticipating the official commissioning of the Church building, which they hope will be presided over by the Bishop of Kabale Diocese or the Kakore Rugambwa Parish Priest, during a grand ceremony filled with celebration and thanksgiving.
