KABALE: Kabale District woman Member of Parliament, Honorable Catherine Atwakiire Ndamira, on Sunday cautioned the public against allowing politics to divide them, emphasizing that the realm of politics is transient.
Speaking at the Butenga Church of Uganda, Kitooma Parish, under the Rukore Archdeaconry in Rubaya sub county, Kabale District, during a fundraising event aimed at supporting the construction of a new church, Honorable Atwakiire’s words, conveyed by her political assistant, Alex Akampurila, resonated deeply. She underscored the competitiveness of her position, urging the public not to engage in divisive behavior, but rather to focus on the broader goal of progress.
Honorable Atwakiire urged the public to trust in divine selection when it comes to leadership roles, citing her own commitment to maintaining civility even in the face of political competition. Her steadfast belief in peaceful discourse was evident as she encouraged voters to follow suit.
