KABALE: The Kabale District Woman Member of Parliament, Honorable Catheline Atwakiire Ndamira has rallied residents in Kabale to embrace love over animosity.
Addressing the gathering at the sendoff of the late Joseline Rubazongoza, a beloved member of the Kabale community from Kabumba village in Bukora Parish, Kitumba Sub County today, Honorable Atwakiire emphasized the importance of fostering love in the face of rising political tensions. The burial service led by Reverend Dickson Mushabe, the Priest of Bwama Church of Uganda parish, served as a solemn reminder of the need for unity and compassion.
Reflecting on the unsettling trend of residents aligning themselves with different political factions and resorting to hatred as elections draw near, Honorable Atwakiire emphasized that true support and affection cannot thrive amidst division and enmity. She implored residents to seize the opportunity of each breath they take to nurture love and understanding among one another.
She beseeched mourners to reject the divisive politics of hate, opting instead for cooperation within the community, unwavering trust in the divine, and a commitment to love as the guiding principle toward the kingdom of God, even in the darkest of times.

Joseline Rubazongoza passed away at the age of 96 due to health complications, leaving behind a legacy of love and familial bonds. She is Survived by eight children and thirty-eight grandchildren and her body was laid to rest at her ancestral home in Kabumba village, Kitumba Sub County, Kabale District.
