Recounting how the two ministers arrived in Kisoro with sacks of money in an attempt to bribe voters and block Akifeza’s path to victory, Mateke expressed his satisfaction that the people of Kisoro stood firm in their values. He questioned why these ministers did not bring development projects instead of money.
