Hon. Akifeza Grace Ngabirano successfully raised 20 million Ugandan shillings, with 10 million coming from her own pocket and another 10 million lobbied from her friends. Additionally, she pledged to donate ten computers to the school to enhance learning in science and technology.

During the event, MP Akifeza urged parents to pay equal attention to the education of boys, as many male children are increasingly being left behind, similar to how girls were once marginalized in education. She expressed concern over the high dropout rates among boys, attributing the trend to their involvement in commercial activities such as selling sugarcane and cultivating onions.

She also condemned child labor, which has become prevalent in the district, emphasizing that it is a major cause of school dropouts. She called on parents and leaders to join efforts in ensuring that boys and all children remain in school so they can grow into future leaders of the country.
