Kigezi Homeboyz Football Club has parted ways with head coach Stephen Pritchard following a string of poor results in the FUFA Big League season.
In an official statement released on Monday, the club announced that Pritchard’s departure is effective immediately.
“We appreciate his efforts and commitment during his tenure and wish him all the best in his future coaching journey,” the club said.
Assistant coach Aggrey Madoi has been appointed as the acting head coach on an interim basis.
He will be supported by members of the current technical team as the club navigates the remainder of the season.
Pritchard, a Scottish national, had been at the helm for 99 days, having signed a one-year contract upon his appointment on January 12, 2025.
He replaced Denis Tushabe, who was promoted to the role of Technical Director as part of a restructuring effort aimed at strengthening the club’s technical framework and boosting its chances of promotion to the Uganda Premier League (UPL).
During his tenure, Pritchard managed nine games, recording two wins, four draws and three losses.
When he took over, the club sat in 11th place on the league table. He leaves them in 13th place with 22 points.
