The NRM Electoral Commission Chairperson, Dr. Tanga Odoi, has suspended the tallying of votes for the Woman Member of Parliament flag bearer in Isingiro District.
The decision follows a disagreement between the two leading candidates, Ayebazibwe Justine Kashaija and Lilian Ruteraho over the provisional results.
Efforts to reach a mutual understanding between the two camps proved unsuccessful, prompting the suspension on Friday to allow for further verification and resolution.
