Kasese District Chairman, Erifaz Muhindi, has called on faith-based leaders to integrate messages of wealth creation into their preaching in order to empower communities financially.
Speaking on Thursday afternoon at Rwenzori College of Preachers in Mwaro Cell, Nyamwamba Division, during a graduation ceremony for 16 gospel preachers, Muhindi echoed President Yoweri Museveni’s earlier appeal to religious leaders to complement government programs aimed at improving household incomes.
He commended faith institutions for supporting government efforts to uplift the living conditions of Ugandans, noting that combining spiritual nourishment with financial empowerment would help build a more stable and self-reliant society.
“Spirituality is paramount, but if the Church integrates it with messages of financial empowerment, we can nurture a supportive and undivided flock of God,” Muhindi said.
