KISORO – An 11-year-old child is nursing Burns inflicted by his biological father during a disturbing incident involving food at Kisoro hospital.
The suspect, identified as James Nzita from Bushoka village, Gasovu parish, Nyarusiza sub-county, Kisoro district, is now on the run.
According to Silvia Dushime, the mother of the victim, the altercation began when Nzita, upon returning home, insisted on having the entire meal to himself, a routine that has caused disputes in the past.
In an act of defiance, the child resisted this demand, resulting in Nzita hurling hot food onto the child’s thighs, stomach, and other body parts.
