KABALE – The Kabale District Woman Member of Parliament, Honorable Catheline Atwakiire Ndamira on Saturday advised for married women to be submissive to husbands in order to build strong families.
Speaking at the giveaway ceremony for Florence Akanjuna in Kasinde, Mwendo Parish, Ndorwa West County of Kabale District, Honorable Atwakiire stressed that, in marriage, prioritizing one’s partner is crucial for fostering faithfulness and family development.
The event celebrated the union of Florence Akanjuna, the daughter of Gad Kamugisha, Synod Member of Kasinde Church of Uganda within Kikungiri Archdeaconry under Diocese of Kigezi.
Honorable Atwakiire remarked, “Once you’re submissive to your husband, the rest leave to God. I have no doubt that your family will be God-fearing, given your upbringing in a humble and religious family.”
Additionally, Honorable Atwakiire participated in the introduction and giveaway ceremony for Hosanna Deborah, the daughter of Happiness and Annah Kyokwijuka of Ruhiita Northern Division, Kabale Municipality, held at the White Horse Inn in Kabale municipality.
