KABALE – A Rwandan national has suddenly died in a Horizon-bound bus traveling from Kampala to Kisoro.

The deceased, identified as James Tuyizere based on his National Identity card indicating he was 23 years old, passed away while en route.

According to Hammis Magomu, an eyewitness to the incident, the deceased was brought onto the bus by an unidentified individual who even covered the cost of his transportation.

However, during the journey, Tuyizere began experiencing severe vomiting, prompting bus staff to relocate him to the back seat to minimize inconvenience to other passengers.

Magomu told our reporter that upon reaching Ntungamo municipality, passengers heard cries from fellow travelers indicating that someone had passed away on board. Subsequently, passengers requested the bus to stop at Kabale police station to report the incident before continuing.
