RUKIGA – The territorial police of Rukiga are investigating circumstances surrounding the death of a 28 years old Nelson Twesima alias Kikorokomba a resident of Muhanga town council Rukiga district.
According to the Kigezi Police spokesperson ASP Elly Maate, It’s alleged that on Tuesday 4th July 5, 2023 at around 9:00PM at Muhanga central cell Muhanga town council, the deceased went to Gerald’s bar while drunk, he sat and shared some drinks with friends, and shortly he started vomiting.
This prompted Gerald the bar owner and Taremwa to put him outside for fresh air, till about 02:45AM when they left him outside the bar where he was found dead in the morning.
Police was notified by Gerard Taremwa, scene of crime was visited and documented, postmortem done at Kabale referral hospital and 15 suspects were arrested for questioning.
A case of murder by suspected poisoning was registered at Rukiga police post under file number CRB 311/2023.
