KISORO – Police in Kisoro District are probing the circumstances surrounding the demise of 83-year-old Claveri Sekalema, a native of Kabaya village, Gasovu parish, Nyarusiza sub-county.
Elly Maate, the Kigezi Region Police spokesperson, revealed that the deceased possessed documents indicating residency in Mpigi district.
The lifeless body was discovered today, 31/10/2023, around 07:00 AM along the roadside in Kadama village.
Paul Habimana reported the incident to Muramba police post, subsequently informing Kisoro central Police station.
Maate affirmed that the scene was examined and documented, with statements obtained from relevant witnesses.
Additionally, the deceased’s body has been transported to Kisoro hospital mortuary for postmortem examination.
