KISORO- Police in Kisoro District are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of Victor King, a male adult resident of Bushehiro village in Kazahi parish, Kayonza sub-county, Kanungu district.
According to a Police report, it is suspected that Victor King was murdered in the morning hours of June 29, 2023, at an unknown time.
The incident took place in Ntungamo village, Kahurire ward, Nkuringo Town Council, located near Gorilla Height Lodge in Kisoro District.
Elly Maate, the Kigezi region Police spokesperson, stated that the incident was reported to Rubuguri Police Station on June 29, 2023, at 10:10 AM by Kajubwami Atanasious (40), the Chairman of LC3 Nkuringo Town Council.
Maate further confirmed that the scene of the crime was thoroughly examined and documented.
The body of the deceased was subsequently transported to Kisoro Hospital mortuary for postmortem examination.
