The suspects, identified as James Kiromba and Beinomugisha Denis alias Murefu, are accused of killing Bagambira Milton, also known as Obote, a resident of Nyakisa Cell, Kashekye Parish in Kamwezi Sub-county.
According to police reports, the incident occurred on Tuesday at around 7:00 AM. The deceased had gone to tend to his banana plantation located in Rwenzaza Cell when he found the suspects allegedly stealing coffee from his coffee plantation.

They then proceeded to mutilate the victim, cutting off both legs, both arms, and removing his eyes. The dismembered body parts were allegedly transported across the border into Rwanda, where they were buried in a sack.
