Police in Katwe are holding three suspects in connection with a video circulating on social media, which shows a group of men scaling a perimeter fence and violently assaulting an individual inside the premises.
The suspects, identified as Sali Ethan, alias “Unruly,” Sali Isaac, and Sejongo Isaac, were arrested during an intelligence-led operation targeting criminal gangs in Makindye Division.
The Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson, Racheal Kawala, said the identity and whereabouts of the victim are still unknown. She urged the individual involved, or anyone with relevant information, to report to the nearest police station to assist with ongoing investigations.
Kawala strongly warned the public against engaging in lawlessness or mob justice, adding that efforts to apprehend additional suspects are ongoing.
