Kitabutuka commended Minister Musasizi for his unwavering support of the church, emphasizing that his contributions are inclusive and benefit people of all faiths.

“Minister Musasizi could not be here in person due to his government responsibilities and commitment to service delivery. He was in the area yesterday but had to urgently travel back to Kampala for official duties. However, he has delegated me to deliver the Shs5 million pledge he made last month. I now hand it over to the leaders of Kirigime Church of Uganda Parish,” Kitabutuka stated.

He further praised the minister for his generous contributions, saying, “Minister Musasizi’s support for the church is evident across different faiths, including the Anglican, Catholic, and Muslim communities.”

The service was led by Rev. Mathias Obed Kugumisiriza, the Parish Priest, and also served as a thanksgiving celebration for the children of the clergy.

While preaching, Shakson Akatusasira, the Missions Coordinator of St. Andrew’s Nyabikoni Church of Uganda Parish, encouraged Christians to have faith and walk in the light of God.

He urged them to refrain from despising others, emphasizing that everyone is created for a purpose.

“Some of us often complain that God does not answer our prayers. But do we truly pray and give thanks to Him? Do we offer a tithe to Him?” Akatusasira asked, urging Christians to always give thanks to God and remain steadfast in prayer.
