Blacksmithing, a practice known in Bukoora Parish, Kitumba Sub-county, Ndorwa West County, Kabale District, involves the use of traditional technology. By lighting fire on charcoal and heating metal objects, blacksmiths use hammers to bend and cut heated metals, producing items such as knives, axes, hoes, pangas, saucepans, and spears.

The entire process takes several hours to ensure the objects are thoroughly heated, making them easier to shape and refine.
