Ronald Kato, the Executive Director of the organization, said he was motivated to advocate for the victims after learning that many individuals had allegedly been scammed by people pretending to be agents of the District Service Commission members.
Kato explained that their efforts, which began on May 5th of this year, have so far helped 21 people escape the scam.

He noted that after receiving tips from affected individuals, his team would investigate and summon the accused to refund the stolen money.
Kato expressed his disappointment that some of the conmen are government employees within the district. However, he declined to reveal their names to avoid compromising ongoing investigations.
