Court Issues International Arrest Warrant:

The Buganda Road Court has issued an international arrest warrant for Isaac Ssemakadde, directing Interpol to arrest him. His current whereabouts remain unknown.

The warrant was issued by Chief Magistrate Ronald Kayizzi following a request from private prosecutors Tonny Tumukunde and Joshua Byamazima. The two lawyers had previously petitioned the court to arrest Ssemakadde on charges of insulting the modesty of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), Jane Frances Abodo.

On Wednesday, Tumukunde and Byamazima formally applied for his arrest through Interpol, arguing that he was evading justice outside the country.
