Speaking at the offices in Rushambya shortly after a charity walk in Kabale town, the founder of AICM and Emeritus Bishop of North Kivu in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Enock Kayeeye, stated that celebrating 40 years of the organization’s existence is a significant achievement.
He shared that AICM began as a dream in 1958 and materialized in 1983, with a mission to reach, mobilize, and empower rural communities and marginalized groups in Africa through capacity building and advocacy for sustainable development.
