RWAMPALA- The Ibanda district LC5 chairman Mr Happy Harbert has urged students to put more effort into their studies and pray to God if they want to succeed in their studies and become important people in future.
He made this call on Wednesday while addressing the students and old students of Laki High School-Bujanga during the old student’s reunion function as the guest of honor in the school main hall in Bujanga Ndinja Rwampala district.
He has thanked the teachers, students and the parents for their effort they put in for the better results in UCE and UACE and has called upon administrators and teachers to campaign efforts for the better results of Laki High School.
The headteacher of the school Mr. Mpirirwe Moses has on special note thanked the old students for loving and supporting their school and has requested them to maintain such good spirit and love for their school.
He has thanked students for their good discipline saying that he is going to work hand in hand with teaching in order to produce the best candidates in the coming exams.
Speaking during the same function, Mr. Joab Muhwezi Tumwebarize the Chairman Board governors called upon teachers to maintain good relations with students to maintain academic excellence in the school.
The chairman Bujaga Old Students Association Mr. Akoragye Edwin stressed that they organized this reunion in order to interact, inspire and guide the young students on how best to succeed in their books and become important people in future.
He has thanked the old students for the support they have rendered to their school and to fix time to attend the reunion and has called upon them to maintain such spirit.
Speaking to our reporter, Mr. Robert Mbabazi kawerere, the Rukiga district LC5 Chairman, who is also an old student of Laki High School has thanked the old students for loving their school.
Kakwere also called upon the old students to maintain the zeal saying that they are getting old so the young generation should be ready to boost this as soon as they step out.
