KAMPALA – A senior candidate in her fourth year at a Uganda National Examination Board center in Kampala has delivered a baby girl, as reported in Day 4 of the ongoing UCE Exams by UNEB.
The identity of the candidate and her school has been kept confidential for security reasons.
Remarkably, she managed to complete her papers for the first three days.
Unfortunately, she couldn’t participate in the exams on Day 4 as she stayed home due to the recent childbirth.
Labor pains began around 1:30 P.M., prompting her admission to the hospital, where she successfully delivered her baby by 4:00 P.M.
Despite this unexpected event, she is set to tackle her Physics Paper 3 today.
In another development, UNEB has sadly announced the sudden passing of a Special Needs Candidate who battled sickle cell illness.
