KABALE – A total of seven candidates with special needs at Hornby High School in Kabale district are gearing up for the Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) Exams scheduled for tomorrow.
While the UCE Exams officially commenced nationwide yesterday, candidates took on the challenges of Geography Paper One and Two. Notably, candidates with special needs have yet to begin their examination process, following a timetable tailored to their requirements.
Martin Muhumuza, a dedicated teacher in the unit catering to people with disabilities at Hornby High School, revealed that candidates with special needs are set to initiate their exams tomorrow, starting with Mathematics Paper One and Two.
George Tumusiime Aturebire, the head teacher of Hornby High School in the Northern Division of Kabale Municipality, shared that out of the 36 candidates successfully registered, seven have special needs. Tumusiime informed our reporter today that these candidates have received comprehensive guidance from their teachers and are currently in the revision phase, well-prepared to face their exams tomorrow.
