The formator at St. Paul’s Seminary in Kabale District, Rev. Fr. Bansikiza Constante, has called on Christians to embrace humility and place their trust in God, saying humility is the key that opens the door to God’s presence and blessings.

Delivering his homily during the Second Mass at Christ the King Catholic Church Parish in Kabale Municipality on Sunday, Fr. Bansikiza asked the faithful to reject pride and instead embrace attitudes that draw them closer to God, noting that God reveals Himself to those who are humble of heart.

He said Christians should imitate Jesus Christ, who, despite possessing all power and glory, freely chose the path of humility and obedience, even accepting death on the cross.

Fr. Bansikiza explained that God rewarded Christ’s humility and encouraged believers to remain humble in every circumstance, whether in abundance or in hardship.
