Your Excellency,
We write with utmost respect and deep patriotism as concerned citizens of Uganda who value continued national progress, unity, and fairness under your visionary leadership.
We humbly request that you consider appointing Mr. Kabano Apollo Kyabarongo as a Minister (or Minister of State) in the upcoming Cabinet for the 2026–2031 term. He is a committed member of the National Resistance Movement (NRM) and a well-known aspirant for the Rukungiri Municipality parliamentary seat.
Mr. Kabano holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from Makerere University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Studies from the Uganda Management Institute (UMI). He is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Makerere University. With over 19 years of experience as an entrepreneur and professional accountant, he brings a strong combination of academic knowledge and practical business expertise.
He stands out for his independent mindset and principled approach to leadership. Free from political intrigue and factional rivalries, Mr. Kabano has remained calm, objective, and non-confrontational, even in a politically dynamic environment such as Rukungiri. Despite lacking influential political backing, he has remained resilient and focused on service to the people.
Mr. Kabano has consistently engaged constructively by sharing both positive and critical perspectives on political developments in Rukungiri. He has also openly expressed his willingness and readiness to serve Uganda at a higher level of responsibility.
During his parliamentary aspirations, he did not rely on financial inducements or intimidation. Instead, his campaign was grounded in merit, integrity, and genuine service to the electorate. His example reflects the values of fairness, transparency, and accountability.
Your Excellency, appointing Mr. Kabano would send a strong and inspiring message that leadership in Uganda is inclusive and merit-based. It would demonstrate that commitment, integrity, and capability are recognized above financial influence or political patronage.
Such an appointment would also bring pride to Rukungiri District and reinforce its contribution to national development. Mr. Kabano’s entrepreneurial background, integrity, grassroots connections in Western Uganda, and dedication to youth empowerment and community development position him well to contribute effectively in key sectors such as Finance, Trade and Industry, Local Government, or Economic Development.
We are confident that, if given the opportunity, Mr. Kabano Apollo Kyabarongo will serve with diligence, loyalty, and excellence, contributing meaningfully to Uganda’s socio-economic transformation and the successful implementation of the NRM manifesto.
