The programme was launched at the Police Duty Free Shop in Nsambya, where officers received mango, avocado and jackfruit seedlings.

The initiative is part of a wider programme introduced by Inspector General of Police Abas Byakagaba to promote food security and sustainable livelihoods among police officers and their families.

Speaking during the launch, the Acting Director of Welfare, Production and Sports, SCP Timothy Halango, urged officers to actively participate in welfare and production initiatives to improve their livelihoods.
