KISORO: The Uganda People’s Congress (UPC) flag bearer aspirant, Susan Natukunda, has defected to the People’s Progressive Party (PPP) with a section of her supporters after missing out on the UPC flag for the Kisoro District Woman Member of Parliament by-election.

Natukunda joined the PPP on Thursday following UPC’s decision to select her rival, Meble Ingabire, as the party’s flag bearer. She stated that she joined the PPP to continue pursuing her political ambitions.
