AMURIA: The Christians of Holy Cross Catholic Parish Ongutoi in Abarilela sub-county, Amuria district are seeking approximately 700 million shillings for the construction of a new church.
Martin Asalu, the Chairperson of Ongutoi Parish Pastoral Council, made the announcement during the groundbreaking ceremony held over the weekend, officiated by Usuk Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Patrick Achedu.
Asalu stated that they have already begun receiving contributions, both in cash and in kind, for the church’s construction. He called upon well-wishers and partners to join in supporting the project.
