KISORO – The Right Reverend Godfrey Mbitse, the Bishop of the Diocese of Muhabura, yesterday officiated the confirmation of 69 Confirmants into the Anglican faith in the hallowed walls of All Saints Church, nestled in the heart of Busamba Parish, a tranquil enclave situated in the southern division of Kisoro Municipality.
During his sermon, Bishop Mbitse imparted words of wisdom to the congregation, particularly addressing the younger members. He fervently emphasized the paramount importance of cherishing and showing unwavering respect towards their biological parents a cornerstone of virtuous living.
In addition to this, Bishop Mbitse raised his voice against those among the faithful who have strayed onto the dark path of robbery. He passionately implored them to forsake such ill deeds, underlining that thievery carries no blessings and instead urged them to labor diligently for a brighter and more virtuous future.
With equal conviction, Bishop Mbitse turned his attention to the women in the congregation, calling upon them to embrace a love that knows no bounds for their husbands and children. He emphasized that fostering such love and unity within their families would be the key to achieving harmonious and fulfilling lives.
