The Bishop of Kabale Diocese, Rt. Rev. Callist Rubaramira, has urged Christians across the diocese to mark the Way of the Cross not just by carrying the cross, but by using the moment to renew their faith in God.
Speaking at the beginning of the procession at St. Catherine Church in Kitumba Sub-county, Kabale District, Bishop Rubaramira encouraged believers to reflect deeply, pray, and cast their burdens upon the cross they carry. He emphasized that Jesus’ forgiveness of His tormentors, even in His final moments, is a profound lesson in humility, obedience, and resilience.
