Kabale Woman MP Advises Youth to Uphold Traditional Values

KABALE – The Kabale District Woman Member of Parliament, Honorable Atwakiire Catheline Ndamira, has urged the youth to abstain from immoral behaviors and other negative influences that could ruin their future growth.

Hon. Atwakiire conveyed this vital message yesterday during her speech, which was delivered today by her political assistant, Mr. Alex Akampurira, at the ongoing Youth Conference of Rukore Archdeaconry.

The event drew participation from 600 enthusiastic young individuals representing six parishes of Rukore Archdeaconry, hosted at the main hall of Rukore Polytechnic School.

The parliamentarian emphasized the importance of preserving traditional values, specifically endorsing the institution of marriage between men and women.

She highlighted that this commitment is essential to ensuring the continuity of future generations.

As a gesture of support for the conference, Hon. Atwakiire generously donated 100 kilograms of rice.

Adding spiritual guidance to the conference, Reverend Gilbert Tumwekwase, the parish priest of St. Andrews Kibuga Church of Uganda, delivered a sermon encouraging the youth to have faith in God and to stand steadfast in their beliefs, reminding them that with God, all things are possible.

The conference revolves around the theme derived from Romans 13:12, uniting the youth in their pursuit of positive values and faith.
